The problem

Search for how big your puppy will get and you will find dozens of tools that all do the same thing: divide the current weight by the age in weeks, multiply by 52, and present the result as though it were a measurement. None of them tell you the formula assumes growth is a straight line. None of them tell you it is wrong in opposite directions for a Chihuahua and a Great Dane. Most do not tell you who wrote them.

What we do differently

  • Real growth standards. Our growth tools use centile curves from peer-reviewed research built on bodyweight records from millions of young dogs, modelled the same way paediatric growth charts are. That lets us show your puppy's position on a curve, not just a guess at a final number.
  • The maths is on the page. Every formula is printed with its citation. You can check it.
  • Limits are stated, not hidden. Each tool says where its method stops being reliable, and returns a range instead of false precision.
  • A named human wrote it. Not an anonymous brand voice. See the author page, including what the author is not.
  • No dosing tools. We will not automate a calculation that can injure a puppy if it is off by a decimal place.

Fast, private, and accessible by default

Everything runs in your browser. The details you type about your puppy are never sent anywhere, as our privacy policy explains. Pages are static HTML with minimal JavaScript, so they load almost instantly on a phone with a weak signal.

The site meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. There is a true black-and-white high-contrast mode alongside light and dark themes, plus controls for text size, a dyslexia-friendly reading font, and reduced motion. Every calculator is fully keyboard operable and announces its results to screen readers.
